• The Byzantine Double-Headed Eagle: The centerpiece showcases the high-relief silhouette of the Double-Headed Eagle, symbolizing the unity between church and state, and the global reach of the Orthodox faith.

A Time-Honored Orthodox Tradition

In the Eastern Orthodox Christian tradition, lighting a pure wax candle and placing it directly in front of holy icons is a profound, ancient practice. The burning flame represents the light of Christ, a physical expression of unceasing prayer, and the warm devotion of the family. This vintage-style brass piece beautifully bridges this historic monastic humility with your personal home altar setup.

Beyond its sacred placement in front of your icons (eikonostasi), this exquisite holder serves as a sophisticated piece of Christian home decoration. Its premium antique look makes it ideal for festive Christmas decorations, traditional table settings, or as a high-end token for collectors and vintage lovers.
