Gently slide one paraffin wick through the central heat-resistant aluminum guide tube of either your round or triangular cork float.
Prepare your vigil lamp glass container by filling it halfway with water first, and then filling the top remaining half with high-quality vegetable oil (pure olive oil is highly recommended).
Lower the float onto the oil surface. Allow the wick a few moments to thoroughly absorb the oil layer, and light the tip.
Essential Safety Tips & Performance Guidelines:
The Water Secret: Never fill your entire vigil glass with oil alone. Always use at least half water (or more) at the bottom and vegetable oil on top. The water acts as a natural cooling agent, preventing the glass from overheating, shattering, or releasing unpleasant scorched odors.
