How to Use:
Gently slide one natural beeswax wick into the central slot of the included float.
Prepare your vigil lamp glass by filling it halfway with water first, and then filling the top remaining half with vegetable oil (such as pure olive oil).
Place the float gently on the oil surface, allow the wick a few moments to draw oil into its fibers, and light the tip.
Essential Safety Tips & Guidelines:
The Water Secret: Never fill your entire vigil glass with oil alone. Always use half water (or more) at the bottom. The water acts as a cooling shield, preventing the glass from overheating, shattering, or producing unpleasant scorched odors.
Adult Supervision Required: Flames placed on or near tables, household shrines, or parish altars must be continuously monitored by an adult. Never leave burning oil lamps entirely unattended, and strictly forbid children from handling them.
Safe Handling: Always extinguish the flame completely before removing the wick case to adjust or replace your cotton wick.
