Maintain the absolute purity, honor, and physical protection of your sacred ecclesiastical offerings with our Premium Embroidered Cotton Cloth Pouch for Prosphora and Antidoron. Masterfully sewn from high-quality, durable cotton fabric and detailed with elegant traditional Orthodox Christian embroideries, this specialized 14 x 20 cm pouch serves as a dignified transport case. It is perfectly sized to cleanly carry your smaller prosphora loaves to the church altar or to safely bring home the blessed antidoron particles following the Divine Liturgy.

The Sacred Context of Antidoron & Prosphora in Orthodox Tradition

In the Eastern Orthodox Church and Eastern Catholic Churches utilizing the Byzantine Rite, Antidoron (meaning "instead of the Gifts") is the ordinary leavened bread that is ritually blessed during the Proskomide but not consecrated into the Holy Body of Christ. At the final dismissal of the Divine Liturgy, this blessed bread is distributed by the priest to the faithful as a source of sanctification and blessing. Because this bread is holy and highly revered, custom dictates it should never be placed into common plastic bags or mixed with ordinary items. Our premium cotton pouch provides a dedicated, reverent sanctuary specifically for this holy purpose.

Premium Breathable Fabric & Ecclesiastical Detailing

• 100% High-Grade Cotton Cloth: Crafted from natural, breathable cotton that is exceptionally gentle on fresh holy bread. The porous fabric allows air to circulate, preventing condensation and helping to keep the bread soft and mold-free while bringing it home.
• Intricate Orthodox Embroidery: Adorned with beautiful, crisp ecclesiastical embroidered patterns that reflect the solemn, timeless beauty of ancient monastic aesthetics.
• Secure & Practical Enclosure: Designed for effortless opening and tight closure, ensuring that small crumbs of the blessed bread remain cleanly contained inside the soft cotton interior during transport.
• Washable & Long-Lasting: The heavy-duty fabric and tightly packed embroidery threads are fully washable and engineered to maintain their refined appearance over years of frequent church use.
