Experience the Ultimate Monastic Purity with Rare, Raw Dark Beeswax — The Connoisseur’s Choice for Sacred Vigil Lighting

Elevate your domestic icon corner or parish chapel to the highest standard of traditional hagiographic devotion with our Rare Organic Natural Dark Beeswax Altar Wicks. Supplied in a generous 40-gram bulk bundle containing approximately 300 pre-cut pieces, this premium collection is made from authentic, unrefined dark brown beeswax. Harvested directly from deep honeycomb extractions where it ages naturally alongside raw forest honey, this rare organic material offers an uncompromised, clean, and spiritually grounding aromatic experience.

The Science & Absolute Purity of Authentic Dark Beeswax

True natural beeswax is a complex biological masterpiece composed of over 300 organic micro-ingredients. Our specialized dark wax is entirely unique:

• The Dark Honeycomb Phenomenon: This wax retains a deeply rich, natural dark brown hue because it originates from the inner foundation structures of the hive. It is the most prized, scarce, and expensive type of wax available.
• Characteristic Honey Aroma: As it sits in your prayer space, it releases a robust, sweet, and comforting scent profile reminiscent of wild forest honey and warm propolis—a fragrance completely missing from cheap paraffin or bleached white candles.
• The Pure Bloom Indicator: After a few weeks of storage, you will notice a fine, powdery white layer or "bloom" forming on the surface of these wicks. This natural frosting consists of tiny waxy grains migrating to the exterior and stands as the ultimate undeniable chemical proof of 100% pure, unadulterated beeswax.
• Specially Calibrated Thickness: Because organic dark wax possesses a dense molecular structure with a precise melting point of 65 degrees, it requires a significantly thicker cotton core weave than fragile paraffin or soy alternatives to guarantee a continuous, bright flame.

Complete Altar Kit with 2 Free Floating Cork Bases

Lighting a traditional oil candle and placing it reverently in front of holy family icons is a deeply comforting, centuries-old Eastern Orthodox custom. To support this beautiful ritual, every bulk bag arrives packed with two free premium natural cork floating bases, ensuring your wicks balance perfectly on the surface of your oil for immediate use.

How to Prepare and Light Your Vigil Lamp (Kandili):

1. Gently slide one dark beeswax wick through the central guide slot of your free included cork float.
2. Prepare your vigil lamp glass by filling it halfway with water first, and then filling the top remaining half with high-quality vegetable oil (pure olive oil is highly recommended). *The water cool-shield prevents the glass from breaking or overheating.*
3. Gently place the float onto the oil layer, allow the wick a few seconds to absorb the surface oil, and light the tip for a steady, aromatic burn.
