Solid Brass Candlestick Holy Cross Nickel Plated Orthodox Stand 13.5cm 5.31in

An authentic handcrafted nickel plated brass candle holder with Holy Cross, cast in solid brass and coated with a polished silver-tone finish. Beautifully proportioned for any home altar, prayer table, or icon shelf (eikonostasi), this traditional liturgical piece measures 13.5 cm (5.31 inches) in height and 5.5 cm (2.16 inches) in width, combining sacred ecclesiastical art with enduring metal craftsmanship.

🕯️ Designed for Traditional Church Candles (Sizes № 5 to 7):
The candle cup features an internal diameter of 1.7 cm to 1.9 cm (0.67 to 0.75 inches), specifically engineered to accommodate standard church taper candles (Sizes № 5 to № 7).
*Useful Note: Since traditional church candles (such as beeswax tapers) are naturally soft and pliable, if your taper is slightly larger than the opening, you can easily press and mold the base of the candle slightly to ensure a snug and secure fit.

🕊️ Sacred Tradition & Liturgical Design:
In the Orthodox Christian tradition, lighting a candle before holy icons is an ancient act of prayer and silent devotion:

• The Holy Cross Motif: Adorned with a prominent Byzantine cross along the central stem, this candlestick serves as a reverent focal point for prayer.
• An Offering of Light: Placing a candle directly before sacred icons represents Christ as the Light of the World and the sincere faith of the household.
• Hexagonal Weighted Base: The flared hexagonal base provides reliable balance and stability on tables, icon shelves, and chapel surfaces.

✨ Nickel Plated Metal Craftsmanship:

• Nickel Plated Solid Brass: Heavy, durable, and finished with a brilliant silver-tone luster, crafted to withstand years of regular liturgical and home use.
• Integrated Drip Tray: Designed with a raised rim saucer beneath the candle socket to catch wax drips during prayer.
• Devotional & Home Decor: Suitable for daily prayer rules, church chapels, festive Christmas displays, or as a meaningful Christian gift.
