Artisan Metal Relief and Hanging Assembly

Crafted in Greece in accordance with historic ecclesiastical metalworking customs:

• Embossed Eye Motif: Features a high-relief pressed metal depiction of a traditional eye design with radiating iris detailing, set against a stippled reflective silver-tone background that catches candlelight.
• Two-Tone Gold and Silver Detailing: The silver-tone panel is framed by a detailed braided gold-tone perimeter border with ornamental Byzantine corner flourishes.
• Satin Ribbon and Cross Charm: Accented at the top with a vibrant royal blue satin ribbon bow from which a finely cast miniature Christian cross charm is suspended.
• Complete Dual-Mounting Setup: Fitted with a pre-tied top cord to loop over icon corners or vigil lamp chains, alongside a secure rear safety pin for fastening directly to velvet or fabric hangings.
• Lightweight Stamped Metal Alloy: Measures 8.5 x 6.0 cm (3.34 x 2.36 in), designed with a slim, low-weight horizontal profile that hangs securely without causing mechanical strain on frames or display surfaces.

Cultural Significance and Devotional Use

• Traditional Votive Offering (Tama): Historically used in Eastern Christian tradition as an ex-voto offering suspended near icons in gratitude, supplication, or remembrance.
• Home Icon Corner Accent: Serves as a traditional decorative element to complement icon shelves (eikonostasi) and family displays.
• Devotional Keepsake Gift: A meaningful cultural keepsake for pilgrims, collectors of sacred Mediterranean metalcraft, or parish displays.
