Traditional Metal Relief and Construction

Crafted in Greece in accordance with historic ecclesiastical metalworking customs:

• Embossed Girl Figure Motif: Features a high-relief pressed metal figure of a young girl wearing a traditional dress, set against an embossed textured background that catches indoor lighting and candlelight.
• Byzantine Scrollwork Border: Framed by clean rectangular borders and ornamental corner flourishes rooted in traditional ecclesiastical metalcraft.
• Integrated Top Suspension Hole: Features a pre-punched hole at the top center, allowing customized mounting with fine metal wire, cord, or satin ribbon without damaging the metal plate.
• Lightweight Stamped Metal Alloy: Engineered with an ultra-thin, lightweight profile measuring 12.0 x 4.5 cm (4.72 x 1.77 in), allowing it to hang freely from icon frames or hooks without causing mechanical stress.

Cultural Significance and Devotional Use

• Traditional Votive Offering (Tama): Historically used in Eastern Christian tradition as an ex-voto offering suspended near icons in gratitude or petition for family members and children.
• Home Icon Corner Accent: Serves as a traditional decorative element to complement icon shelves (eikonostasi) and family displays.
• Devotional Keepsake Gift: A meaningful cultural gift for baptisms, chrismations, baby showers, name days, or parish collectors.
