Collection: Brass Vigil Lamps & Censors

Handmade Brass Vigil Lamps/Candles

In the Christian Church, candles are placed before sacred icons, with a "vigilant" candle always alight in the sanctuary. At home, candles are lit daily in the reredos, symbolizing Christ's light, hope, and companionship. Lighting a candle is an offering of respect to God and His Saints, embodying Christ’s light and the call for Christians to be the world's light. The oil represents God’s mercy, while the candles symbolize the Church and the Saints’ radiant light.
